Raus aus der Bubble - Rein in den Storm!

“Raus aus der Bubble - Rein in den Storm!” is a dramedy about two AI fake profiles that suddenly develop feelings and are given bodies for an eccentric artist's theater performance.
Inspired by the research project “Storykillers,” published in 2023 by the journalistic network Forbidden Stories, the text satirically examines the mechanisms and people behind the targeted dissemination of misinformation with the help of AI. With an easy-to-follow story, it raises awareness of the threats to our democracy posed by social media and encourage people to reflect on their own community and immediacy. Low-threshold and understandable education on the topic of AI and disinformation is currently necessary on all channels in order to effectively counteract hatred and violence in our society. The “more-than-scenic-reading” informs about the seriousness and extent of these threats, while reminding us of the uniqueness of human relationships. The artistic process is a continuous work in progress, enabling the project to stay relevant and evolve across different funding phases.
