UNDER//AMBITION

"UNDER//AMBITION" is a sharp, poetic performance about the modern obsession with self-optimization and the quiet rebellion of those who refuse to play along. Based on real interviews, the piece explores the absurdity of ambition, from the yoga mat to the existential crash, through a mix of monologues, satirical dialogues, and music.

What happens when we stop chasing deadlines, dopamine, and the myth of "having it all"? With dark humor and raw honesty, the text dissects the pressure to perform, the fear of stagnation, and the liberation in failure. It’s a panorama of anti-heroes: the procrastinators, the burned-out, the rebelliously unambitious, all searching for balance in a world that demands constant growth.

A blend of theatre, spoken word, and song, "UNDER//AMBITION" was a comissioned work for the Open Air Theatre Stage of Wilde Möhre Festival during the Corona Pandemic 2020.

Lautnah Media oversees all aspects of "UNDER//AMBITION," including artistic creation and production.
